Following my G-SYNC 101: Input Lag & Optimal Settings article, where I tested the 240Hz, G-SYNC capable Acer Predator XB252Q for button-to-pixel input latency across six refresh rates, is a preview of our upcoming review of the monitor.
The below pursuit test photos are but a small sample of what will be in the final review, but exhibit the considerable motion clarity advantage 240Hz affords, even in non-strobed modes.
As we prepare to begin a brand new monitor review format, including our pursuit camera technique that successfully takes accurate photos of display motion blur — we are currently working hard on the tools and review structure necessary to write reviews on a more regular basis.
Please stay tuned, and look for more news on Blur Buster monitor reviews later this year!
