MSI has announced their 32″ Optix AG32C gaming monitor, which claims a “1ms response time,” but further investigation of its specifications reveals that it is referring to a 1ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time), as opposed to the panel’s GTG (gray-to-gray) response time of 4ms.
This suggests the monitor will feature a strobing mode of some sort for further Motion Blur Reduction.
Standout features include:
- 31.5″ 1800R curved VA panel
- 1920×1080 resolution
- 165Hz refresh rate
- FreeSync support
- 85% NTSC & 110% sRGB color space coverage
MSI has yet to announce a release date or price point, but we will update here when they do. In the meantime, more details can be found on the Optix AG32C’s official feature page here.
