Acer Announces Several Gaming New Monitors in Predator and Nitro Range from 165 Hz through 280 Hz

Acer has announced that it will be bringing out a fair number of new monitors in the Predator and Nitro range that will all have really small bezels, most of which, are housing IPS panels and is both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibe, as well as AMD FreeSync too.

In the Predator range, the X34 GS is a 34-inch ultrawide curved monitor with a resolution of 3440×1440 on an IPS panel. It’s going to be G-SYNC Compatible with a refresh rate of 180 Hz, and a 0.5ms response time. There’s no word yet on whether this is a MPRT or GtG response time though. According to a post on The Verge, this monitor is set for shelves by December for $1,100.

Continuing on with the Predator range is the XB253Q GW, a monitor running at 1920×1080. This IPS display goes up to 280 Hz refresh rate with the same 0.5ms response time.

It has G-SYNC Compatible too, and has some RGB lightning on it just beneath the display that can synchronize with your music or games. At $430, it’s a little pricier than what one would expect for a 24.5-inch monitor. The XB253Q GW is set for release in January 2021.

The XB323U GX is another monitor being announced and is a 32-inch display at 2560×1440 that can be overclocked to 270Hz refresh rate with the same 0.5ms response time. Also G-SYNC Compatible, his monitor is set to start at $900 in January. Finally, last but not least in the Predator range, the XB273U NV is a 27-inch IPS display at 2560×1440. This display has a 1ms response time and a 170 Hz refresh rate. This one seems to have a feature called VisionCare 4.0, something that automatically adjusts the brightness and the colour temperature of the monitor. This one is priced at $550, and will also be launching in January.

The two final monitors from Acer come from the Nitro range, and the XV272U KV and XV272 LV both come in as 27-inch monitors. Both of them run off IPS panels too. The XV272U KV is a QHD monitor with a 170 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, while the XV272 LV is a 1080p monitor with a 165 Hz refresh rate. These two will be $400 and $280 respectively, when they launch in December. The KV model also comes with the VisionCare 4.0 feature for automatic adjustments.
