ASUS Releases TUF VG279Q1R – A 144 Hz IPS Display

ASUS has announced its new 27-inch IPS monitor under the TUF Gaming banner in the VG279Q1R.

The monitor is a 27-inch IPS screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1ms. It’s a Full HD monitor at 1920×1080 and supports AMD FreeSync Premium. It also has the ASUS standard software such as the ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur, Shadow Boost and the Exclusive GamePlus function for gamers.

On the main page of the ASUS site, the VG279Q1R has 178-degree viewing angles with a very slim profile, measuring just 7.5mm.
