Iiyama Brings Its 34-inch Ultrawide Monitor to Gamers — The Red Eagle G-Master

Iiyama’s G-Master Red Eagle monitor series is reportedly getting an addition in the form of the GB3461WQSU. It’s an IPS panel with a 3440×1440 resolution.

According to a post on KitGuru, the iiyama 34-inch Red Eagle will bring its 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync to gamers in the month of April. The official site has the device slotting into the FreeSync Premium range with iiyama’s own Black Tuner technology, giving users the chance to change the performance in the shadowed areas of games.

When plugged in through HDMI, the monitor supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, while a DisplayPort will give users the full 144Hz.

The monitor has support for Low Frame Rate Compensation (LFC) too, which means that the minimum frame threshold for FreeSync is lower than usual. This will give a tear-free gaming experience to many more users.

It also has height, swivel and tilt adjustment and a 1ms MPRT response time.
