BenQ Announces Zowie XL2546S – A 240Hz Fast Response Monitor

BenQ has announced that the Zowie XL2546S will be coming soon and has said that it’s going to be the next monitor of choice for competitive esports gamers. The news comes fresh from TFTCentral, and shows the XL2546S with DyAC+ support and a 0.5ms GtG response time.

The official page on the BenQ site has the 24.5-inch esports monitor listed as a native 240Hz monitor on a TN panel. It has a 1920×1080 resolution, shield, height-adjustable stand and more.

Essentially, the monitor is nearly identical to the XL2546, save the fact that the monitor has a faster 0.5ms GtG and DyAc+ support, which should reduce strobe crosstalk, especially at 240Hz.

The DyAc+ Technology offers players the chance to see things more clearly, giving them an added advantage of having their crosshair constantly visible and less blurred to help with in-game recoil control.

DyAc and DyAc+ use voltage-boosted strobe backlight technology for display motion blur reduction, maintaining over 300 nits brightness, with no reduction in strobe quality. The predecessor, XL2546 with DyAc, is still available on Amazon.
