Nixeus Reveals New 4K 144 Hz Gaming Monitor, NX-EDG274K, with Full 128-Level Overdrive Gain

Computer monitor, peripheral and electronic manufacturer Nixeus has today announced the release of another gaming monitor at CES 2020, the NIXEUS EDG274K, adding to its EDG gaming monitor series, with 4K 144 Hz.

The new hardware, the Nixeus EDG 27”, is a 27-inch monitor with an IPS display and a resolution of 3840×2160. The monitor has a 144 Hz frequency with a 4ms GtG response time, with VRR support from AMD FreeSync.

The NX-EDG274K has support for Adaptive Over-Drive/Anti-Ghosting and Low Frame Rate Compensation (LFC) which enables a smooth and stutter-free gaming experience, also giving users the option to change the settings with the Full Over-Drive Control in the monitor’s OSD.

This is a rarity among manufacturers, this monitor enables complete Overdrive Gain adjustment with 128 distinct overdrive levels. This is fantastic, as Blur Busters is a long-time advocate of finer overdrive adjustment. Even minor things like room temperature, panel warm-up after power-on, and different frame rate ranges during VRR, can slightly affect overdrive in real-time. Fine-grained overdrive control really helps here!

The monitor natively supports 4K using just the single DisplayPort 1.4 connection and also offers gamers height adjustment on the stand, as well as pivot and swivel to create the perfect set up.
