Those looking for the latest in virtual reality hardware can now get the Pimax Vision 5K Super from their official website. The headset is currently going for €699 and is the first consumer VR headset that is capable of reaching a 180Hz refresh rate.
The Pimax 5K Super also has a 170-degree diagonal field of view, with expansion of up to 200-degrees in extra-wide.
The resolution on each lens is 2560×1440 and has alternative refresh rates including 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz and 160Hz. According to WCCFTech, the headset can reach 180Hz in the experimental mode, with the highest at the standard mode being 160hz.
The standard price of €699 is only for the headset, and those looking to get the full bundle will need to fork out almost twice that amount. At €1202, the bundle includes the headset, two SteamVR Base Stations, and two Knuckles Controllers.
