AOC Reveals New G2 Series Gaming Monitors at GamesCom

AOC has revealed three new G2 series monitors at GamesCom 2019. The models are called the 24G2U, the 27G2U and the CQ27G2.

All three of the monitors come with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) and AMD FreeSync. Both the 24” and the 27” run at 1920×1080 resolution, while the CQ27G2 is a 27” monitor with a curved screen at 2560×1440. It appears that the big change here is that the 24G2U and the 27G2U are both IPS monitors and according to the website, they both have a response time of 5ms listed. We have to assume that the monitors are 5ms GtG in this case.
