ASUS most certainly are pushing out a lot of information at this year’s CES 2021. With it comes the new 1440p gaming display in the ROG Swift PG279QM. This monitor is a 27-inch IPS panel running at 2560×1440 and has a 240Hz refresh rate.
According to a press release from ASUS, the PG279QM also has a 1ms GtG response time thanks to the ASUS Fast IPS panel, and it also covers 95% of the wide DCI-P3 colour space gamut.
The display has got NVIDIA’s G-SYNC variable refresh rate tech included and has it’s new Reflex Latency Analyzer too.
This lets competitive gamers see how long the input from the mouse takes to translate to the screen, creating a better understanding for input lag to best increase responsiveness.
